Event Schedule
The NYC SEAL Swim will bring together swimmers, veterans, volunteers, and supporters for a day of endurance, teamwork, and purpose.
The event will include swimmer check-in, safety briefings, swim waves, and a post-swim gathering to celebrate participants while supporting the mission of the Beyond the Brotherhood.
SWIM DAY TIMELINE
Date: August 15, 2026 (Saturday)
Location: Liberty State Park, Hudson River, New York Harbor

| 5:00 AM | Hyatt Regency Jersey City Guest Shuttle: For swimmers staying at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson, shuttles will begin arriving at 5:00 AM and will depart for Liberty State Park at 5:15 AM. This is an optional transportation service for hotel guests. All swimmers must arrive at the Empty Sky Memorial by 6:00 AM for check-in |

| 6:30 AM | Opening Ceremony at Empty Sky Memorial (opening remarks by Ambassador Mike Waltz; prayer, patriotic songs, National Anthem, War Fighter speeches) |
| 7:00 AM | Flag run departs Empty Sky Memorial south along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway |
| 7:30 AM | Families board ferry; swimmers continue south to Flag Plaza |
| 7:40 AM | Swimmers reach Flag Plaza; gear up at South Lawn |
| 7:45 AM | Safety swimmer inspection |
| 7:50 AM | Dual headcount #2 |
| 7:55 AM | Swimmers move to water-entry positions |
| 8:00 AM | Swimmers enter the water at the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway bridge over South Cove |
| 8:30 – 9:00 AM | Statue of Liberty Barge (100 Honor Pushups and 22 Pullups for our freedoms and civil liberties) |
| 9:30 – 10:00 AM | Ellis Island Barge (100 Honor Pushups and 22 Pullups for all those who came to our nation seeking a better life and for our nation’s diversity) |
| 10:45 – 11:00 AM | Extraction and Jersey City FD decontamination station |
| 11:10 AM | Empty Sky Memorial (100 Honor Pushups and Pullups for all those lost on 9/11 and all those who put it on the line for our nation) |
| 12:00 PM | Post-swim ceremony, flag run back to Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson |
| 4:00 – 10:00 PM | Afterparty. In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, the theme of the afterparty is to dress as patriotically as possible. Bring your best red, white, and blue |
